WOW!

The boat journey was worth it. Iceland is everything I thought it would be. The 1st 10km's was snow, ice and windey roads and then just mile after mile of amazing scenery, little wooden bridges, dirt tracks and gravel roads. Hardly any traffic just sheep. It is cold though and i am glad I splashed out on the heated grips before I left. One rider fell off his bike in the 1st 10 minutes. 2 other KTM's left the port this morning but continued on the ring road. Rented a log cabin for tonight in Hofn. £20.00 isn't that bad. Tomorrow will be a bit more of a challenge as leaving the coast mid day after riding round Eldhram and heading towards Landmannalauger.
